On Tuesday, February 17, band students under the direction of Mrs. Akridge participated in a Pre-LGPE Clinic held at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Georgia Southern University. Students had the opportunity to perform their LGPE music in a collegiate performance venue and work directly with an experienced clinician who provided in-depth, individualized feedback.
LGPE (Large Group Performance Evaluation) is a statewide assessment where ensembles are evaluated on tone quality, technique, balance, and musicality. Clinics such as this allow students to refine their performance skills in a professional setting while gaining insight into the adjudication process. This experience represents a valuable step in their preparation and growth as musicians. We are extremely proud of their focus, effort, and professionalism.

Save the Date: Free Sports Physicals @ TCMS on April 29.
*Students can pick up the sports physical packets at the Gym or with the Connection Teachers.
