The Summer Meal Program provides free meals to children and teens, 18 years old and younger when school is out for summer. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by state and local agencies. All children and teens are eligible to receive free meals through the Summer Meal Program, regardless of income or household size. There is no need to apply or register for the program. Meals are served at Toombs County High School on the following days & times: June 3-26 (Tues-Thurs) July 7-10 and July 21-30 (Mon-Thurs) Breakfast: 7:45am-8:15am Lunch: 11:45am-12:15pm

The TCHS Graduation ceremony will be held at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, May 17th, at Booster Stadium. The top gates at the main entrance will open at 7:30 a.m. The tunnel entrance and parking area directly behind the tunnel are only for Class of 2025 graduates. All family and friends will enter through the top gates and should park by the main ticket entrance. TCHS graduating seniors need to report to the tunnel entrance by 7:30 a.m. and check in with Dr. Batton. Remember to check the graduation dress code requirements. Summer Swim Team is here! See attached flyer for information! Additionally, you can contact the TCHS swim coach via email at Heather.Moore@toombs.k12.ga.us for information. Students do not have to be Vidalia students or residents to participate in the summer swim team.

This is a Toombs County Schools transportation update. Due to the recent heavy rainfall, our bus drivers and transportation team are reaching out to families who may be affected by road conditions. We’re identifying alternate pick-up and drop-off locations where needed to ensure students can get to and from school safely. Toombs County Schools are also working closely with the Toombs County Sheriff’s Office to monitor road updates and provide additional support if necessary. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we prioritize student safety.
