This session is hosted by Paige Ward and TC Family Connections and will focus on how we respond to stress, how it impacts our families, and ways to create positive, lasting connections with our children.

Toombs County Family Connection is hosting a Kinship Caregiver Support Group on Thursday, March 27 from 6:00–7:30 PM at 125 Church St., Suite 104 in Vidalia.
This group is designed for grandparents, relatives, and other caregivers who are raising children in kinship care situations. It’s a welcoming space to connect with others who understand the journey, share experiences, and learn about helpful resources.
Childcare and dinner will be provided to make attending easier for families.

Toombs Central Elementary School is preparing to implement important safety instruction as required by Erin’s Law for all students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
These age-appropriate lessons, provided through be Kid Safe, will help students:
✔️ Understand personal body safety
✔️ Recognize unsafe or uncomfortable situations
✔️ Learn how to set healthy boundaries
✔️ Identify trusted adults and how to ask for help
All content is presented in a supportive and developmentally appropriate manner.
📝 Permission forms have been sent home and must be returned in order for your child to participate. Please review, sign, and send the form back as soon as possible.
