Finley Crow, a 5th grade student in Mrs. Richter’s class, built his own motorized windmill while reading the novel called The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer. He was inspired to make it because William built a windmill from scratch to provide electricity for his home in Malawi, Africa. His efforts prove that anything is possible with effort and ingenuity.

🌟 March Family Engagement Spotlight 🌟

Parental involvement makes a powerful difference in a child’s education! When families stay engaged, students experience:

✅ Increased motivation and engagement
✅ Improved behavior
✅ Stronger academic performance
✅ Better parent-teacher relationships
✅ A deeper understanding of their child’s growth

Family engagement doesn’t have to be complicated. Simple actions make a big impact:
📚 Read with your child
🎉 Attend school functions
💬 Talk about school events
✏️ Help with homework

Together, we can create a supportive partnership that helps every child succeed. Thank you for being an essential part of our school family! 💛
